Final Project "Dancing Bipedal Robot"

FINAL PROJECT

For my Final Project, I decided to build a Dancing Robot Connected to Twitter. The mission was to set it up to where every time someone tweeted a "Dance" that the Robot would start Shaking a Tail Feather. Due to some technical difficulties, I didnt get that far. I most definitely got it to dancing though. This project I really want to explore something different than what I was used to, and am not yet good with Arduino, just yet.

Reading Wk9 "Coding The Infome: Writing Abstract Reality"

To be honest writing code is just foreign to me, and in a way it is like trying to learn  another laguage. Especially the time it take and it feels as if you would never perfect it in a way, always learning new ways to do things no matter if its more simple than the way you know or more complex. Jevbratt states that code creates the Internet and claims that the Internet's complexity can even be like an organism.  I enjoyed reading this article because in a way it is an organism not because of the coding but the visualizations it creates . It was interestig reading about the many thing Jevbratt created because it help me understand more of how different artist use their techniques to make work.

Reading wk6 "Protocol"

After Readinf this it kind of reminded of the Systems Art class. It really reminded me because of the focus on the technology base but at the same time could be a piece of art at the same time. Also about the system and that is follows different codes and commands. The project being able to think on its own and follow the certain code and protocol created and given and also be in an interactive environment. When it gave the history of coding and to find out that the creation of it is so recent is crazy because it has gotten so advanced.

Project 2: Social Hacking

For my second Project I decided to do it over one of the biggest apps out right now which is Instagram. My social hacking was over its filters and people liking pictures and once they are liked the filter goes away and shows the original picture.

This is screenshots of the website

Once you click the link it leads to this page. I know the difference of the pictures are exaggerated but its more of trying to get the point across between the difference in filter and not having one.
