Week 5 Reading response

"What Relational Aesthetics Can Learn 4Chan"

I found this article very interesting because it said social interaction between people is some type of art. I find it interesting because people do this everyday rather its in person or on a social website. I can see how its looked at some type of art form because everyone has their own way going about things, basically their own personalities and the spontaneity of it happening.

"Sociable Media"

Somthing about social media is that it is always something new and people cant help trying it out. This is interesting to me because no matter what app or technology they come up with the most interesting part is that people always will adapt quickly especially if its for communication.   People are more interested in being able to communicate.

Week 3 Reading

Database and Symbolic Form

What I think this essay is saying is that everything we use is basically a database or data structures with specific set of rules or algorithms that have a connection with unlimited information and knowledge. Everything is connected and it is up to the user to where it navigates although that it is already a set of rules but no set of navifation. Comparing it to a narrative is a bit crazy though because its already a set of things planned out initially but just isn't in a particular order.

Death of an Arthur

How I took this reading is that everytime you read or interpret someone writings, artworks, or anything that someone has created you look at it in their perspective, the view and you take in consideration of their meaning but when an arthur dies it opens up many ways to view it and you could look at it in your own way. Its like going to a museum and seeing a piece that you are really interested in and trying to figure out its meaning or trying to interpret the work in your own way of doing things without reading the artist/ art description but the artist isnt necessarily dead.
